Damn you Coronavirus.

Jimmy died today. Because of the virus. What did Jimmy do for me? Made me feel alive. Provided a space to be yourself. Made the strongest vodka sodas. Met my ex/neverwasmyboyfriend/butwetotallyconnectedanddareIsaylovedeachother there many a time. Sometimes in friend mode, sometimes in rebound mode, sometimes in I so don't need you mode but, in all modes the constant was Jimmy's. Jukebox took quarters and there wasn't a bad song on it.

We always found a table. And there were only 3.

Wasn't just about him. It was more about it All. We always seemed to be able to get a table even though there were only 3 of them. Get take-out from Virgil's and eat BBQ while trash talking and getting slowly sloshed.

It's where I saw him down 3 doubles in an hour when I was strong and he knew I wasn't going home with him.

It's where we all were young and free and made terrible jokes about feeding tubes. It's where we talked about not putting our men on pedestals. Where pedestalling became a verb. But we all did it anyway. Pedestalled.

Why do All Things Go?

Throat clearing, "Ahem, Tis the Natural Order of Things."

Why do we have brains that allow for consciousness that makes us wonder what it is all about where there really is no answer?

Nervous cough. "You got me."
